The BSA is an organization where any student can have the chance to learn about the African-American culture, beliefs, and meet new people. Throughout the year BSA has shown support and interest in major incidents around the country. Not only does this organization sponsor various activities around campus, but it also supports the other various multicultural organizations on campus when spreading the word about diversity and learning to accept others cultures with a different perspective. The Jena Six, Black Issues Conference, the upcoming Black History Expo, and events during Homecoming are just a few of the important topics covered by the Black Student Association.
