Every six weeks I go have my hair permed by my beautician and she styles it depending on what style I want. Usually I go every two weeks to get my hair touched up which includes a wash and style. A few of the styles include: a ponytail, a French roll, spiral curls, straight down, or any other elaborate design that I can think of. At night I go through many different steps to insure that my hair stays in good condition; one step that is a constant is when I tie my hair up with a silk scarf or wrap my hair around my head and then put a wave cap or scarf on my head to keep my hair in place. There are times when I do not go to my beautician to have my hair styled therefore I get my hair braided in one of three styles that I prefer: micro minis, single braids, or cornrows. The ritual of putting my hair up at night is similar to after I've had it put into one of my many styles. Although my braids tend to stay in longer than the styles and I can wear my hair like such for up to a couple of months.
